MONTGOMERY, ALA. — The Alabama Board of Nursing has approved Faulkner’s plan to start a Bachelor of Science in Nursing program in fall 2025.
The new program marks a milestone in Faulkner’s effort to expand its health care education offerings, President Mitch Henry said.
“Our nursing program will equip future health care professionals not only with the knowledge and skills they need,” Henry said, “but also with the values of faith, integrity and service to others. We believe our students will graduate ready to make a real difference in the world.”

SEARCY, ARK. — Harding will begin offering a bachelor’s degree in artificial intelligence.
“Through this program, we aim to equip students with tools to build responsible, impactful AI models that make a difference across industries,” said Joe Faith, an assistant professor in business.
The program will launch in fall 2025.
LIPSCOMB UNIVERSITY
NASHVILLE, TENN. — It’s called the Lighting of the Green.
The Lipscomb community celebrated the 20th anniversary of its traditional start to the holiday season with entertainer Amy Grant.
Lipscomb celebrates its annual Lighting of the Green.
The six-time Grammy Award winner performed holiday favorites and Christmas carols. Special guests included Vince Gill, The Arcadian Wild, Daves Highway and Madison Watkins.
Choirs from the university and nearby Lipscomb Academy joined the Dec. 3 event in the Allen Arena Mall.
