A native of Chattanooga, Tenn., Ted Parks attended Lipscomb University, Harding School of Theology and the University of Texas at Austin. Before moving to Nashville in 2004, where he currently lives, Parks taught at Pepperdine University in Malibu, Calif., for 12 years.
A contributor to The Christian Chronicle since the 1990s, Ted has also written for Religion News Service, Sojourners magazine and other publications. He attends All Saints Church of Christ in Nashville.
