My wife and I have been a part of North Texas Leadership Training for Christ since our older daughter, Maggie, was in third grade. Now she’s a junior in high school and interested in music education. And, I might add, the chorus she helped to direct for this year’s NTLTC was just asked to sing before the big worship service here at the Hilton Anatole tomorrow morning.

Since tomorrow is Easter, here’s a song from another chorus — which includes our younger daughter, Lucy. Jason Engelke did a tremendous job with the group. Here they are representing our home congregation, the Memorial Road Church of Christ in Oklahoma City. The song is “Shout the Good News!” by Andrew Parr, available through Hal Leonard Music.

“Rejoice, rejoice! Shout the good news! Jesus Christ is risen!”

About 675 miles east of here, The Christian Chronicle’s own Calvin Cockrell is at the Lads to Leaders convention at the Opryland Hotel in Nashville, Tenn. Here’s video he captured of the participants singing Bethel Music and Jenn Johnson’s “Goodness of God.”
